Sensei Hariz started his karate training in 2004 and earned his black belt in 2011. He has also taken part and won many tournaments.

He has also taken part and won many tournaments that includes being 3rd runner up in the 2nd SG Chinese Forum All Open Full Contact Karate Tournament in 2011; won 2nd runner up in the 2nd Singapore Full Contact 2014, as well as representing Singapore in the 15th Asia Open Shinkyokushin Karate Championship 2014 (Top 16) in the Light Heavyweight Category.

As a teenager, Sensei Cephas faced bullying in school, once being beaten up by older boys. To defend himself, he began training in Taekwondo, earning his 1st Dan black belt at 19.

As a teenager, Sensei Cephas faced bullying in school, once being beaten up by older boys. To defend himself, he began training in Taekwondo, earning his 1st Dan black belt at 19. However, he never forgot his older brother’s comment that Taekwondo might not be as effective in close quarters.
Finally, at 44, he began studying Shinkyokushin Karate, a close-contact martial art, achieving his 1st Dan after four years at age 48, and his 2nd Dan at 54. Today, he contributes to Dojo Wu at the King George’s Dojo, helping train the next generation.

Sensei Henry Soediarko

Sensei Henry began practicing Shinkyokushin karate at the age of 36, later than most, but has since achieved the rank of 2nd Dan.

Sensei Henry began practicing Shinkyokushin karate at the age of 36, later than most, but has since achieved the rank of 2nd Dan and serves as an assistant instructor at Dojo Wu Bishan. He is also a certified side judge with WKOSS and a trained first aid responder.

Professionally, Henry works as a Climate/ESG investment analyst and is a strong advocate for Shariah-compliant investing. He is fluent in both Bahasa Indonesia and English, and conversant in Dutch.

Sensei Justin began his karate journey in 2008, inspired by Kyokushin legends like Lechi Kurbanov, Hajime Kazumi, and Andy Hug. He earned his Shodan in 2013, and re-earned it in 2023.

Sensei Justin began his karate journey in 2008, inspired by Kyokushin legends like Lechi Kurbanov, Hajime Kazumi, and Andy Hug. He earned his Shodan in 2013 but took a break to focus on family and career. In 2018, he returned to Dojo Wu Shinkyokushinkai Karate as a white belt and re-earned his Shodan in 2023.

Now an assistant instructor, Justin is passionate about Kyokushin kumite and has represented Singapore in the 18th and 19th All Asia Full Contact Karate Championships. Among his notable achievements are placing 3rd in the 6th Singapore Full Contact (SFC) Karate Tournament in 2019 (below 65kg), winning the Best Spirit award at the 2019 WKOSS Year End Mini Tournament, and securing second place in the 7th Singapore Full Contact (SFC) Karate Tournament in 2024 (below 70kg).

Sensei Farhan is an accomplished professional with a rich blend of academic and martial arts expertise. He holds a Master of Arts in Professional Education (Training & Development) and serves as Head Coach for Kudo Singapore.

Sensei Farhan is an accomplished professional with a rich blend of academic and martial arts expertise. He holds a Master of Arts in Professional Education (Training & Development) and a Bachelor of Engineering (Materials Engineering) from Nanyang Technological University.

Currently serving as Head Coach for Kudo Singapore, his diverse training spans Shinkyokushin Karate, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Judo, Capoeira, Pencak Silat, and Taekwondo. Farhan has represented Singapore in the 18th Asia Shinkyokushinkai Karate Open and earned medals in various international and regional competitions.

Sensei Jack began practicing Shinkyokushin Karate at the age of 33, seeking to improve his health and fitness. He now holds a 1st Dan black belt.

Professionally, Jack works in the IT sector, specialising in the Environmental and Service industries. He is fluent in Mandarin and English, with conversational proficiency in Cantonese.

Sensei Rhesha Balwan

Sensei Rhesha began her Shinkyokushin Karate journey at the young age of 9 and earned her 1st Dan in 2021.

Sensei Rhesha began her Shinkyokushin Karate journey at the young age of 9 and earned her 1st Dan in 2021. Throughout 2021 and 2022, she gained valuable teaching experience by assisting other instructors. Her goal is to foster a positive learning environment where children can enjoy karate while developing key values like discipline and perseverance.

Rhesha is also certified in basic first aid, CPR, and AED, and is fluent in English with conversational proficiency in Chinese.

Sensei Ryno began his formal karate training at age 10 in Goju Ryu after witnessing a memorable demonstration: his father’s Sensei blowing out two ceiling light bulbs.

Sensei Ryno began his formal karate training at age 10 in Goju Ryu after witnessing a memorable demonstration: his father’s Sensei blowing out two ceiling light bulbs with a powerful Seiken Tsuki (fore-fist punch) against the Makiwara (striking post). Ryno now holds a Shodan in both WKOSS Shinkyokushin and JKA Shotokan and serves as an assistant instructor at Dojo Wu.

Beyond karate, he has trained extensively in Tae Kwon Do, Jeet Kune Do, and Krav Maga. His background also includes Judo training under Olympian Ray Stevens, and a blue belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu under Lucio ‘Lagarto’ Rodrigues in London, UK. He is a certified personal trainer with expertise in strength and conditioning, and physiotherapy.
